As Arvada West High School (AWest) expands their business program, AWest DECA is moving and changing as well. Arvada West DECA has doubled in size and put on a variety of programs this year ranging from Custodian Appreciation, helping local charities, as well as taking on larger responsibilities in school events (such as Trick-Or-Treat Street, community outreach programs, etc.). This year is the first year that AWest is able to offer DECA Students FREE Microsoft Office training AND certification! It has been exciting watching DECA and the AWest Business Program grow!

Congrats to the 2024 DECA State Conference Winners!
DECA Is Back From State Conferences! Out of 5000 attendees, Izzy Lalouette took SECOND PLACE for Marketing and Cailyn O'Malley took fourth place in Principles of Hospitality & Tourism. They took home trophies, the satisfaction of being the best in their field, and are invited to compete with students from all around the nation later this year. VERY WELL DONE Izzy & Cailyn!!!
