Econ and the World

Econ and the World assignments ask you to relate what you are learning in class to the real world.

For these assignments, you will watch, read, or listen to the news on whatever format you prefer. Just ensure that it is a reliable news source.

You will share four news stories with the class. Whatever you share has to be news from the past 72 hours of your presentation, and you cannot present more than 1 story a week. You have the entire semester, but do not wait until the last minute to get started!

Presentation Requirements:

1. Summarize the story.
2. Explain how it connects to key concepts from class.
3. Draw the appropriate model to show this connection and explain it. You will do this on the white board.
4. Provide the citation for the story in whatever legitimate format you prefer (MLA, APA, etc).
