Welcome students!

I have been teaching since 1998 and have been here at Bear Creek High School since 2005. I love teaching at Bear Creek because we pretty much have the best students anywhere, and I get to work with some pretty awesome teachers in the Social Studies Department.

For the 2020-2021 school year, I will be teaching AP Human Geography, Psychology, Economics, and Advanced Placement Macroeconomics.

Originally, I am from Florida which is where I taught my first seven years. No, it wasn't anywhere super cool in Florida. However, my hometown does have the most naturally round lake in the U. S. And I grew up about 30 minutes from some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

In Florida I taught Social Studies and G/T Enrichment classes.

I came to Colorado because of my love for rocks, mountains, hiking to cool scenic places, and rock climbing. I love traveling to see cool places in and around Colorado. One of the most amazing places I have been is the Coyote Buttes wilderness area in southern Utah (below). The photo to the right I took on top of Square Top Mountain, a 13'er

It is pretty much a requirement that I show you photos of my dogs. They are pretty awesome. Bourbon is the reddish-brown and white dog, and she is a mixed breed rescue. Baxter the black and tan dog, and he is also a rescue. He is a Blue-Tick Coon Hound.
