Amanda Evans - 1st Grade

Welcome to first grade and thank you for visiting my web page. My name is Mrs. Evans. This is my fifteenth year of teaching overall and my eighth year at Elk Creek.  I was born and raised in Illinois.  After graduating from Western Illinois University, I began my career at Millikin Elementary school teaching third grade.  Due to a job transfer, my husband and I then moved to Ohio where I taught first graders at Copopa Elementary School.   Eleven years ago after much research of seeking out an outstanding school for our own children, we chose to move to Conifer!  I am the proud parent of a high school daughter and a middle school son.  We are a family that loves adventure and travel.  I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to be teaching at Elk Creek Elementary.  If you have questions or concerns, please contact me by email amanda.evans2@jeffco.k12.co.us, or by calling the school (303)982-2900.  I look forward to a wonderful school year teaching your child.
