ALST

The Academy Leadership Student Team (ALST) is a group that works actively with teachers, administrators, counselors, and the community to help promote and educate about the academy program here at Green Mountain High School. We are seeking students that can be academy role models to both their peers and future academy students. Additionally, you will be able to help refine the current academy model and make it the most worthwhile for students. It is a great way to gain invaluable leadership experience and to learn to work with a wide variety of people in a team setting. Some qualities that make a good ALST member may include: effective communicator, creative thinker, self-starter, dedicated, organized, approachable, and knowledgeable about academies. As an ALST member you will be meeting routinely with an academy leader and to be asked to help at a wide variety of events such as school open house nights and community events.
