A Little Bit About Me

Hi, I'm Abi Watkins. I'm in 8th grade and this is my first year at JCOS. I really like music, money, mini starbursts, pickles, and poetry.

I really love to listen to music. Some of my favorite artists include Tyler The Creator, Brent Faiyaz, Frank Ocean, etc. I used to play some instruments including the clarinet and the ukelele, but unfortunately, I stopped for literally no reason. Mini starbursts and dill pickles are some of my favorite snacks THEY'RE SO GOOOOOD. Lastly, I like poetry because it's a healthy way for me to express my emotions to others, which is not easy for me.

Personal

get more exercise

Did I achieve these goals?

For my personal goal, I think that I somewhat achieved this. I've been working out more than I did at the beginning of the year, but I would really like to start doing it consistently. I think that I will better achieve this goal during the summer because I will be less busy and have a better mindset to accomplish this. I think that I have achieved my social goal. I've made more friends than I had at the beginning of the year and I've lost a few, but I'm really happy with the friends I have now. I've become friends with people that I didn't think I would ever talk to, and the biggest influence on that was the classes that I've taken. Lastly, I believe that I have achieved my intellectual goal. At the start of the school year, I was worried that I wouldn't turn in my work on time because due dates are taken less seriously here rather than at the other schools I've been to, and I'm very good at procrastinating. I'm really proud of myself for achieving this goal because I've managed to keep up on most of my work and turn it all in.
