7th-Grade Photography Essay Project

7th-Graders have worked with a resident photographer for four months to understand how photography is a means of expression. The culminating project asked students to apply the techniques they gained from the resident photographer to express their passion through photography using one of these larger themes: social issue, personal issue, or environmental issue. Students selected one of these larger themes to create a photographic essay that will inspire or motivate others to action.
