Welcome to 5th grade! I am so excited for another fantastic year together. This will be my 4th year teaching overall and my 3rd year here at Coronado. Returning to Coronado as a teacher is extra special for me—I grew up in Littleton and actually attended Coronado as a student myself! It is wonderful to be back in the school community that felt like home for so long.
In our classroom, my goal is to meet every student right where they are, creating a safe, welcoming space where every child feels heard, seen, and valued. I love having fun while learning alongside my students! I strongly believe that our classroom should be a place where taking risks and making mistakes are celebrated—because that is truly how we learn and grow together.
A Little About Me Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my husband, Taylor, and our two cats, Stella and Stormy. You can usually find me going for long walks, reading a good historical fiction book, or enjoying quality time with my family and friends.
I can’t wait to partner with you and your student to make this a memorable 5th-grade year!
