This week we work very hard with factors and multiples. We challenged our brains with "The Locker Game" problem.

As we are moving along we notice how important it is to know you multiplications facts, so please keep practicing.

At home you can keep practicing their multiplication facts with them so that they are fluent. 

This week we read a text called The Year of the Rat. We looked at the point of view and the characters in the story. 

We are working on RACE responses when we answer our questions. 

In writing we will be working on a personal narrative that we learned a lesson from. This is an interesting twist to the usual personal narrative story about you.

Social studies: We started out the year with learning about the "original Coloradoans" the Utes. We learned about their circle of life and we are creating our own.
