If you use Google Slides, you know how quickly the built in templates can get old. Luckily, it's easy to add new, visually appealing templates to give your presentations new life!
Find the theme you want. Usually these sites will have a button for both Powerpoint (which will download the theme as a file) and Google Slides (which will simply open the document in Google Slides, making a copy for you in your Drive.)
If the document opens and has a button that says USE TEMPLATE in the upper right-hand corner, just click that button. This will automatically add the template to your Google Drive and open it in Google Slides. Skip to step 4.
If it doesn't, then you can make a copy of the template by going to File>Make a Copy.
To import the theme for editing, open a new Google Slides presentation by going to slides.new. Click on the Theme button at the top of Google Slides, then click on Import Theme. Your new Google Slides presentation is ready to go.
