Color Guard

We are so excited that you have decided to try out for the Gardendale High School Auxiliary.  Please follow the steps below to complete the tryout registration process. You and a parent/guardian must also attend the Parent Meeting on January 13th at 6:30 in the GHS Auditorium.  

Step One - Read through the Auxiliary Tryout Packet which includes tryout requirements, the auxiliary constitution, estimated expenses, guidelines for parents, and the concession acknowledgment form.

 Step Two - Complete the Google Form linked below.

Step Three - Turn in a copy of your physical to Mrs. Shankles in room 216. Please find a link to the current physical form below.  Your physical must be current and signed and dated by a physician (M.D. or D.O.).  You may not participate in clinic without a current physical.  If your physical is already on file with the school, I will still need a copy of it.

 Step Four - Turn in your sealed envelope with your $500 deposit check.  You must include a driver's license number and a phone number on the check.  If you do not make the team, your envelope will be returned unopened.  If you do make the team, your check will be deposited the week following tryouts. 

Step Six - for those that are trying out for the first time, arrange a time to check out a flag from Mrs. Shankles.
