Rehearsal Schedule

Check here each week to know when you need to stay after school and how late. Reminder: conflicts should be given at least 24 hours in advance to the Director (Courtnee Waldref cwaldref@jecsd.org) or Production Coordinator (Andrea Love - alove@jecsd.org).

ATTENDANCE POLICY

1. The schedule will be available on the web and on paper. Please refer to the schedule frequently and check the web or the Google Classroom for updates. The web address is: www/jecsd.org/jemsmusical

2. Cast members are expected to be at all rehearsals when they are called unless there is a prearranged sports conflict or an excused absence.

3.  Production week rehearsals are mandatory.

4. Three (3) or more unexcused absences may result in recasting the role.

5. A note is also needed to communicate ALL sports conflicts. Cast members are responsible for communicating game conflicts and shared rehearsals with the Production Coordinator in writing.

6. To excuse a student from a rehearsal:

1. Specify any conflicts on the signed page of the contract.

2. A note or email directly from the parent to the Production Coordinator, Mr. Deapo, at least 24 hours in advance.

7. Absence from school due to any illness, including COVID-19 symptoms or quarantine, will be considered an excused absence.

A note received later than 24 hours in advance will not qualify as an excused absence unless in emergency situations.
