Johnston Community School District is committed to ensuring that English language learners receive targeted instruction in English as well as supports to access core content and instruction. General education and ESOL teachers will continue to consider each student’s specific strengths and needs, such as their current level of proficiency in English and the academic areas where they need the most support. Please access the general education classes that you attend on this site. Students/parents will be receiving communication from their ESOL teacher sharing direct instruction, classroom meetings and independent practice opportunities.
