By choosing to access mandatory educational opportunities during the period of school online learning related to the COVID-19 pandemic, you are agreeing to allow your student to participate in a recorded video conference session that may be shared with other students. Inherent in the use of this type of technology is the possibility that other outside parties, such as the parents of other students, may view or have access to your child’s participation in these videoconferences. In allowing your child to participate in these educational offerings and use a Web camera or call-in feature, you are agreeing to consent to the disclosure of your student’s participation in the videoconference to third parties. You may choose to participate by audio only or access the learning through the recorded link.
During times that we need to go online due to COVID 19, we will be using this site for all of your child's learning needs.
Daily your child will have the opportunity to engage in learning. Here is what your family can expect.
A "LIVE" synchronous learning at the start of each school day time will be conducted through a classroom Zoom. Students will socially interact with one another and engage with their teacher in learning. Zoom links and times are under your child's teacher's page in the top left hand corner drop down menu.
Your child will be provided a small group instruction time daily by their classroom teacher or an associate focusing on our Iowa Early Learning Standards and GOLD objectives.
Lessons will be provided by your child's teacher through email or SeeSaw that are pre-recorded and follow our Early Learning Standards and Units of Study that families can participate with during the day at their own availability.
A on-going weekly check in will be provided by a teacher or an associated to your child and family conducted through email, SeeSaw, a personal note, Zoom or phone call to encourage connections between families and school.
