Q1 Roundtable:
After sharing my project with the panelists, I felt very uplifted and reassured that I had a good idea and was moving in the right direction. There was a lot of really great feedback from the panelists and they had some community connections for me to look into. I feel that I gained a much clearer idea of where I wanted my project to go.
Q2 Roundtable:
The quarter 2 roundtable went well. I felt good about my presentation and my slides. My topic and plan was well received and the teachers and students present expressed a lot of interest. I was at a place where my next steps were clear and I felt like I knew how to proceed. The overall experience was positive and I felt good about where my project was headed.
Mid-April Status Update:
My presentation went really well. I enjoyed creating my slideshow and trailer. It helped motivate me to keep powering through editing my documentary by providing a break from the tedious editing I was doing and allowing an opportunity to do something much simpler. I found the feedback to be very insightful and pretty useful. The main feedback I got was that I should consider having multiple other people help edit certain sections of the video or I should take a few sections out. Overall I felt good about my presentation and feedback and was track to finish in early may.
