Quarter 1 Roundtable
My Quarter 1 Roundtable group included John Clinton (another senior capstone student), Mr. Brodsky, and Ms. Moore. After sharing my project with the group, I felt more confident about my topic and reassured about my choice. Both teachers were really supportive of my project and thought it would make a positive impact on the community. We discussed what my final project might look like, which gave me some ideas for the future.
My Quarter 2 Roundtable group included John Clinton, Connor Clarkson, and Jalynn Guido (the other senior capstone students), Julia Zamora (a student), and Mrs. Raicht and Mr. Berger. Having different teachers from the Quarter 1 Roundtable allowed me to get new perspectives on my project, which was nice. The teachers suggested that I find a way to collect responses from the Nottingham residents, which I thought was a good idea, and they also gave some suggestions in regards to my presentation skills, which will be helpful for the future.
For the Mid-Year Status Update, we presented to the whole class, which allowed for a diverse set of feedback. Everyone was really supportive of my project and thought it was a cool idea, which was reassuring. They also gave me some suggestions, including how I could improve future performances and how I might showcase my work at the exhibition.
