Exercise III:
For the following sentences, underline the word that will become the accusative subject and circle the verb that will need to become an infinitive. Then translate the sentences into Latin.
1. The girl said that the wolves had gone into the city.
2. One wolf replied that he had always been in the city.
3. The other wolves agreed that they were all citizens.
4. Your turn: You should write three or four sentences in Latin, with at least two indirect statements, one subjunctive, and one participle or gerund/gerundive. Use the vocab from our text. Be sure to include an English translation.
