Being Creative
On this page you will engage with different approaches to being creative
SCAMPER
SCAMPER is a brainstorming technique to promote creative thinking and help students come up with new ideas.
Students ask a set of questions which encourages divergent thinking when responding to a defined problem.
It is encouraged to use this strategy as a starting point and adapt the questions to suit your students and the learning in focus. It helps the merging of ideas which have not been merged before. You are using the ideas of others as a stimulus for your own.
SCAMPER encourages students to explore a range of concept ideas quickly and without constraints, hence avoiding fixation.
