Shannon Green is the director of choral activities at Jackson County High School. She has 18 years of teaching experience, 16 of which have been in the choral classroom. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Music Education degree, both from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Mrs. Green has performed in many places including Austria, Prague, Germany, and Carnegie Hall in New York City. While Mrs. Green loves to sing and perform, teaching choral music is her true passion.
In her free time, Mrs. Green likes to go for walks, watch tv, swim at the pool, create digital resources, and spend time with her family. She has two children - daughter Lylah and son Benjamin - and her husband, Matt, who is an elementary music teacher.
