Monday - September 28th Meeting &

Tuesday - September 29th Meeting

• Our 1st double day meeting week!  :)

• We added Monday's to the meeting dates.  Members can now choose ONE meeting to attend each month...the last Monday of each month OR the last Tuesday of each month.  

• Adding this additional day provides more flexibility for members to choose what works best for their schedule.  

• Both meetings brainstormed ideas on field trips, meeting activities and community service ideas.  

  • • Field Trip Ideas:  Corn Maze/Pumpkin Patch, Topgolf, Ice Skating, A Sporting Event

    • Meeting Activities:  Overwhelmingly, members wanted to keep "Friendsgiving" for the November meeting!  December was split between making ornaments and exchange gifts of some kind.

    • Community Service Ideas:  Visit A Nursing Home (bingo or decorate for the holiday), Hygiene Kits (for homeless shelter), Kindness Commercial (for WJMS Homeroom Slides)

• Ms. Timbs and Mrs. Jones will now begin pricing out events to present to members at the October meeting.

Tuesday - August 25th Meeting

• Our 1st meeting!

• We had a LARGE turnout this year.  We discussed the FCCLA Fall Leadership Rally at Six Flags Over Georgia.  Students who were interested in attending this event received permission slips.  Students were reminded that in order to attend any school day trips, they must be passing all 6 classes AND have no discipline steps within 30 days of the trip.

• Permission slips for FCCLA Fall Leadership Rally can be found on the FCCLA board outside of Mrs. Jones's room on the Connections hallway. 

• We discussed adding additional meeting days so more people can attend.  Mrs. Jones and Ms. Timbs are working to confirm those dates with WJMS.
