Welcome to the East Jackson Middle School Counseling Website!

Hi, I am Amy Bell, counselor, East Jackson Middle School. Prior to becoming a counselor, I was a middle school mathematics and science teacher for eleven years. I received my Bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education with an emphasis in mathematics and science from The University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia. I earned a Master's degree in Post Secondary Education from Troy State University, Troy, Alabama. I earned a Master's degree in School Counseling from The University of West Alabama, Livingston, Alabama, and my Educational Specialist degree in Teaching and Learning from Piedmont College, Demorest, Georgia. Currently, I am working on my PhD. in Counseling and Psychological Studies from Regent University, Virginia Beach, Virginia. I am in my seventh year as a school counselor for the Jackson County School District. Please review this site for information regarding different counseling services that are available, student resources, and parent resources. Please feel free to contact me anytime. I look forward to working with the parents and students of the East Jackson Community.
