About Me:
I was raised in South Florida where Latin Culture is very prevalent . I come from a family of Cuban Americans with a deep love for Latin Music! I enjoy sharing my knowledge of all areas of Latin Culture with my students.
Jackson, TN has been my home since 2004.
I am married to T. Verner Smith and the mother of a JCS High School Senior , as well as a c/o2025
JCS graduate. We joined the Jackson Christian family in 2013.
I am a University of Florida Graduate and hold a Masters Degree in Education from
Union University.
I love spending time with my family, "glamping", Tennessee Walking Horses, my 2 dogs, the beach and cruises.
Students will be introduced to various aspects of the Spanish Culture and its amazing people. They will learn new vocabulary words , numbers, colors, and more! We focus on Spanish vocab through children's literature, different themes and manipulatives.
