The program is available to Pre-Kindergarten* through 4th grade students.
*Pre-Kindergarten students who have already been enrolled at Fairmont.
A snack is served daily after school.
We are open on 1/2 half days and most vacation days. Please make sure that your child brings his/her lunch on these days. We also have an extensive Summer Educare program.
Mission
It is the mission of the Fairmont Educare program to provide working parents a quality, supervised, before and after school program. Yet it is not a baby-sitting service, nor is it limited to working parents.
The Educare program is a well-rounded program featuring several different and enriching components. The children are divided by age groups. We do homework, center activities, some art activities and have playtime.
Educare Pre-Kindergarten Fee Schedule
Application/Registration Fee $15.00 per child
7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. $3.00 per child
2:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. $5.00 per child
2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. $10.00 per child (fee waiver)
Half Day/12:00 p.m. dismissal $12.00 per child
All Day Care - weekly rate $80.00 weekly 1st child, $70.00 weekly each additional child
All Day Care - daily rate $22.00 per child
Late pick-up fee (per child) $10.00 for 1st 15 minutes, $10.00 each additional 15 minutes after
Returned check fee $30.00
Daily Educare Fee Schedule
Application/Registration Fee $15.00 per child

3:15 - 6:00 p.m. Students on fee-waivered list $5.00 per day
All other students $7.50 per day
Two or more students $5.00 per child (2nd child, etc.)
Two or more students $3.00 per child (2nd child fee waivered)
Half Days (3 days during the school year)
12:00 - 6:00 p.m. "Half Day" $12.00

Application/ Registration Fee $35.00 per child (non-refundable)
Full Time - First Child $80.00 per week
Full Time - Each Additional Child $70.00 per week
1/2 Day Summer School Discount for June $12.00 per day
Part Time(1 - 3 days per week) $22.00 per day (no sibling discount)
**NOTE: Application/ Registration Fee must be paid whether your child attends 1 day or all summer.
New Transfer Student Enrollment
Educare directors will coordinate with previous schools for transfers between Johnson City Schools to assure there is no Educare tuition debt at the previous school before enrolling a student into the Educare Program. If debt does exist, enrollment will be denied until the debt has been paid to the previous school.
