The 7th grade science classes are doing their earthquake house projects. This project helps the students learn about earthquakes, what causes them, and how houses can prevent damage from them. The classes construct house out of cardboard and other materials. Then the house is tested on if it is strong enough to survive the "earthquake".

Our Jennings County Boys Basketball teams traveled to South Dearborn Saturday November 9th. Both our 7th and 8th grade teams went 2-1 both losing to Batesville. The 8th grade blew out Franklin County by 30 and had a dominating win over Connersville by 15. 7th grade blew out Connersville 44-24. They also beat St. Mary's Greensburg 47-38.
8th Grade Pros:
Dominate offense in all 3 games
Brycen Sigler was able to get downhill very successfully
Owen Dailey shot 6/12 from beyond the arc
Kolin Boyd was a very positive impact by contributing getting points off offensive rebounds
Bryson Mays was very effective in the passing game. He also contributed to points of rebounds
Jonah Kruetzjans is very aggressive when the ball is in his hands and lethal at the freethrow line
Everyone clicked together and played as a team
8th Grade Cons:
Defense didn’t click until towards the end of the day
Lots of turnovers
Need to talk more in general but mainly on defense
Need to be more aggressive getting boards
7th Grade Pros:
The bigs dominated in the paint throughout the weekend
In both wins they were very dominant over Connersville and St. Mary’s Greensburg
Solid defense throughout the day
There is a lot of potential down the stretch
7th Grade Cons:
Offense is struggling scoring early
Foul trouble
Waiting for everyone to grow into their bodies to dominate
