Here are the attendance rewards for the new school year. For the 25-26 JCMS school year the school has chosen to add a brand new attendance rewards system. This new system will hopefully encourage students to show up to school more.

This year there will be 4 dances total excluding the celebrations. They will be after school from 3:15 PM to 4:45 PM, which is an hour and 30 minutes long. The cost to get in is $5 for each dance.
The upcoming dances in order are the Halloween Dance, which is October 24, then the Winter Dance, which is December 12. Next will be the Valentine's Dance, which is February 6, 2026. Lastly, the End of Year Dance is May 1, 2026.
The DJs are DJ Vaughan and DJ Miller. The concessions will be available they are across from the North Gym where the vending machines are located. Cotton candy, pizza and pop, along with other candy and sweets will be served there with other things of course.
The dance will be held in the South Gym and basketball will be in the North Gym. Outside at the track and football field might be an option depending on the weather, according to Ms. McLeod.
