About Our Home Study Program

The JCS MO Bright Scholars Home Study program provides a combination of parent-supported home study with the guidance and instruction of a certificated educational facilitator/teacher. Bright Scholars provides an academically rigorous program that focuses on student interest, learning style, ability, and individual goals to create a personalized learning plan for each scholar.  Scholars in this program have the option to use our vetted curriculum or those materials they deem fit. Scholars will also have access to our huge wealth of resources from our Resource Center. Lastly, they will have the opportunity to participate in 4 annual presentations, monthly field trips, and additional extra-curricular activities, including an after-school enrichment program and weekly learning center classes at our Encinitas campus (Fridays). Enrichment activities are provided at no cost to the student.
