Mission Statement

The Mission of JCISD is to promote citizenship and develop responsible students by providing the knowledge, skills, and life experiences necessary for learners to recognize and capitalize on their full potential.

TEacher induction & mentoring

Teacher Induction at JCISD provides new-to-district teachers with personalized support through mentoring, district and campus wide collaboration opportunities, and the ability to develop a network of colleagues outside of the district. Principals play an active role in the Teacher Induction & Mentoring Program in our district by providing time, space, and the environment in which teachers can grow their pedagogy. We feel strongly that induction and mentoring is not "one size fits all"; therefore, we provide Principals with a great deal of autonomy to determine which teachers need assigned mentors beyond their first year in our district.
