What if my English isn't very good? A good English (minimum B2) is necessary.

Will we be sharing rooms? Yes the

What is the Hello Asso link that you sent us?  Hello Asso is a free French platform which enables associations such as JCI France to receive payments made by credit cards. You also can make a donation which is suggested by the platform. If you don't want to, you can write 0€.

Who can apply to the Peace Makers Academy?  The Academy is open to all the active JCI Members, from all backgrounds and nationalities. We welcome curious minds, civic actors, and peace-driven changemakers ready to engage in an international and action-oriented experience.

Where and when does the Academy take place? The Peace Makers Academy will be held in Paris, France, from Thursday 30 October (2:00 PM) to Sunday 2 November 2025 (2:00 PM).
We expect participant to arrive no later than 2PM on Thursday 30 october .

What does the ticket include?  Your ticket is all-inclusive. It covers:
Full participation in all training sessions, simulations, and workshops
Accommodation for 3 nights (shared rooms)
All meals from Thursday dinner to Sunday lunch
Local visits and cultural activities
Support from the organizing team before and during the event

What is the format of the Academy?  This is not a seminar  it’s a hackathon for peace.
Participants will be immersed in:
Crisis simulations and strategic group work
Insights from geopolitical and diplomatic experts
Peace project design challenges in multicultural teams
Project presentations in front of international guests and partners

How many people from each country can attend? To encourage diversity of perspectives, the Academy aims to welcome a maximum of 1 to 2 participants per country, as far as possible. This helps ensure a truly international and balanced group.

Can I get support for my visa application? Yes. If you need a visa to travel to France, we can issue an official invitation letter to support your visa request, once your participation is confirmed and payment is received. We recommend starting the visa process as early as possible.

How do I get to the venue? The Academy will take place in central Paris, accessible by public transport. Details of the exact location will be shared with confirmed participants. We will provide practical guidance for arrival and departure in your welcome pack.
