OPTIONAL - School Choice Program – Apply Directly

Hoboken Public School District will continue to be a School Choice District for the 2027-2028 school year. Participation in this program will offer children from surrounding areas schools to attend Hoboken Public Schools. If you are interested in participating in the program, you must submit a Notice of Intent to participate in the School Choice Program to the Superintendent of the district in which the child resides.

Non-Jersey City Public School

School Choice is available for students entering Grade 9 for the 2027–2028 school year.

ESL/Bilingual services for eligible students.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Students entering Grade 9
Non-Hoboken residents
B or higher in Math and Science for the past two years
Proficiency in Math and ELA on NJSLA or another standardized assessment

OPCIONAL - Programa de Elección de Escuela – Solicite directamente

El Distrito Escolar Público de Hoboken seguirá siendo un Distrito de Elección de Escuelas para el año escolar 2026-2027. La participación en este programa ofrecerá a los niños de las escuelas de las áreas circundantes la posibilidad de asistir a las Escuelas Públicas de Hoboken. Si está interesado en participar en el programa, debe enviar un Aviso de intención de participar en el Programa de Elección de Escuelas al Superintendente del distrito en el que reside el niño.

Estudiantes que ingresan a 9.º grado
No residentes de Hoboken
Obtener una calificación de B o superior en Matemáticas y Ciencias durante los últimos dos años
Dominio de Matemáticas y Lengua y Literatura en la prueba NJSLA u otra evaluación estandarizada.
