Using Your JISD Device

Students are to keep their devices in good working order. They are required to keep the district-provided case and labels on their device. They are not to add or remove any sticker or label. Damaged or modified devices and cases are subject to fines.
All students should access websites on their Chromebooks through our single-sign-on website, Classlink. This dashboard provides a direct link to the resources that teachers expect them to use. 90% of the times that students have issues accessing what they need, they have not gone through Classlink.

Earbuds
JISD does not provide daily use earbuds. These may be purchased and used by students. Our Chromebooks are Bluetooth and wired compatible.
Stylus

JISD does not provide styluses. However, our devices are touch-screen and students are allowed to use non-pencil/ink styluses on their devices.
Mouse
Mouse
JISD does not provide a computer mouse. However, our devices are compatible with wired, wireless, and Bluetooth computer mice.
