This pathway is designed for students interested in a career working with young children.   Students proceed through a series of three courses designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to be successful in post-secondary programs and the workforce. On May 6th, the Georgia Department of Education hosted its inaugural Teach in the Peach Statewide Educator Signing Day at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta. Jasper County High School Early Childhood Education students Calleigh Stanley and Rebekah Nunez participated in the event with their ECE teacher, Karen Dotson. Calleigh and Rebekah will be attending college in the fall and plan to major in Early Childhood Education.
