Welcome to Jarrell Ranch Middle School Counseling Services!
My name is Marilyn Alvarez, and I have the privilege of serving as your child’s school counselor at Jarrell Ranch Middle School. I’m here to support your student academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school year. Through guidance lessons, short-term counseling, and help with problem-solving, self-regulation, and building positive relationships, my goal is to ensure your child feels supported and ready to succeed.

Parents and Guardians,
As part of House Bill 12, we are required to obtain your permission for your child to participate in school counseling services. These services include short-term individual or small-group support, check-ins, and social-emotional guidance provided by the school counselor.
Please take a moment to complete the HB 12 Opt-In Form so we can continue supporting your student’s needs throughout the school year. Your response helps us ensure that your child has full access to the counseling support available on campus.
