2025-2026 DUAL CREDIT ENROLLMENT
Students must complete steps 1-9 of the ACC Dual Credit Enrollment process
Jarrell ISD students have the opportunity to enroll in Austin Community College (ACC), where they can take college classes for both high school and college credit.
Students can take classes at Jarrell High School during the school day
Classes are offered during the fall, spring, and summer semesters at an ACC campus or online
Tuition is waived for ACC Dual Credit courses*
Students must complete steps 1-9 of the ACC Dual Credit Enrollment process before being eligible for course registration.
*Course must count as a college core curriculum requirement
Students must prove TSI college readiness in English and/or Math (depending on the ACC course you plan to take).
This can be done through the SAT, ACT, or TSI Assessment. Required scores:
SAT - English (480)/Math (530)
ACT - English + Reading (40)/Math (22)
English TSI Assessment - English multiple choice (946), Essay (5)
Math TSI ASsessment - Math multiple choice (950)

Please note: The PSAT and STAAR test no longer satisfy the TSI college readiness requirement for Dual Credit.
9th & 10th grade students:
EDUC 1300
Humanities 1301
11th grade students:
English 1301 & 1302 (English III)
History 1301 & 1302 (US History)
12th grade students:
English 2322 (English IV)
Government 2305 & 2306 (US & Texas Government)
Economics 2301 (Economics)
9th - 12th grade students can take classes online or at an ACC campus.
Students must complete steps 1-9 of the ACC Dual Credit enrollment process.
Students who have completed the enrollment process by the priority deadline will be able to register when registration opens.
Students who complete the enrollment process after the priority deadline will still be able to register for an ACC class, pending seat availability. Registration is first-come, first-served.
The deadline to register for a class is the day before it starts.
