Our Funding Priorities:
Foundation programs promote educational excellence and enhance lifelong learning. Programs will be implemented as funds are available and will be used to support:
Classroom Instruction: Funding for JISD teachers to implement imaginative and progressive teaching initiatives that promote student achievement
Staff Development: Funding for JISD educators to engage in cutting-edge professional development that refines professional skills and supports innovative teaching
Student Enrichment: Funding for JISD students that fosters leadership, life skills, and character development

The Jarrell Education Foundation solicits, manages, and distributes funds for enrichment purposes in program areas not funded by tax dollars. Funding is supplemental and does not replace or alter the use of tax-based revenue. Programs will be funded from donations.
What is the Jarrell Education Foundation?
The Jarrell Education Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Established in 2018, our mission is to enhance student learning through innovative opportunities that promote academic excellence. The foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors representing a cross-section of citizens who are dedicated to education and share a vision for excellence in our schools. The board is deeply committed to partnering with parents, teachers, and the community to support and enhance the education of all students in the Jarrell Independent School District. The foundation is a separate legal entity and is governed by state and federal law separate from the school district.
What programs are provided by the Jarrell Education Foundation?
Classroom Grants: Funding for JISD teachers to implement imaginative and progressive teaching initiatives that promote student achievement
