By investing in the Jarrell Education Foundation, you are directly impacting student achievement. The foundation accepts donations from individuals and businesses to fund its programs and activities. Donations are tax-deductible and gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated. Donations may also be given in honor or memory of someone.
Donors can often double or triple a contribution with an employer-matching gift. Please check with your employer and ask for the company’s matched gift form and send the completed form with the contribution to the Jarrell Education Foundation.
You can make a one-time annual donation or pledge to give monthly or quarterly depending on what is most convenient for you. The final payment is due by June 30, 2021. By pledging your contribution and paying throughout the year, you can spread out your gift amount to make it work for you and still have the same impact on the students and teachers we serve. Please let us know if your employer will match your gift.

The Jarrell Education Foundation is exempt from federal Income Tax under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are deductible in the manner and to the extent of the law.
Is my donation Tax Deductible?
Yes! Contributions to the Jarrell Education Foundation are deductible in the manner and to the extent of the law. The Foundation provides funds for enrichment purposes in program areas not funded by tax dollars. Funding is supplemental and does not replace or alter the school district’s use of tax-based revenue.
How much of my contribution will be allocated for grants?
The foundation will have a yearly allocation of 35% for funding grants. 65% will be set aside for the future to guarantee the sustainability of the foundation. 100% of every donated dollar will go directly to our schools for the benefit of JISD students.
Do I need to pay the full amount of my donation at one time?
You can make a one-time annual donation or pledge to give monthly or quarterly depending on what is most convenient for you. By pledging your contribution and paying throughout the year, you can spread out your gift amount to make it work for you and still have the same impact on students and teachers we serve. Contributions may be made by cash, check, or credit card, with final payment due by June 30, 2024. The foundation can send you monthly or quarterly reminders to fulfill your pledge. Please let us know if your employer will match your gift.
If I pledge, when is full payment needed?
Full payment for pledges is requested by June 30, 2024. Payment arrangements with each donor are confidential. Payment for pledges to the annual support campaign can be made in convenient installments on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis.
May I honor a loved one through my gift to the Jarrell Education Foundation?
Yes! Your gift can pay tribute or memorialize an individual, a family, or an organization.
