Check Out Information

All books have a two-week checkout time.  

• • Pre-K & Kindergarten students may check out one book at a time.  

  • 1st Grade can check out one book at the beginning of the year. Later, in January, they may check out two books.

  • 2nd graders may check out 2 books at a time.

  • 3rd - 5th grade may check out up to three books at a time.  

  • All students are encouraged to take books home to read. 

Lost & Damaged Library Material

• • We understand that accidents happen.  If a library book becomes damaged, we ask for students to report the damage so that we can repair it.  Please do NOT attempt to repair the book at home. 

  • If a book becomes damaged beyond use, we ask for the student to pay the replacement cost in order to purchase that book again for the library collection.  

  • If a book is lost, we ask for the students to pay for the lost book.
