Romford Royal British Legion
Many of you will already know a brave and wonderful girl called Polly who has JIA. She has been the inspiration for many fundraising activities amongst her family and friends. Her dad and uncle previously went completely out of their comfort zones to complete a running challenge for JAR, her mum has fundraised for JAR and now her fantastic grandad has been helping too!
Polly's grandad Pete arranged a quiz night at the Royal British Legion in Romford. Polly's mum Katrina said "We want to say a massive thank you to Rob, Karen and their team for the quiz. Thank you to the British Legion Romford for hosting and thank you to Grandad Pete for nominating Juvenile Arthritis Research to be the charity chosen for this quiz."
They raised an absolutely phenomenal £700 on the evening to support our work.
Katrina told us "It was a great night and Polly's team even won! And no, it was not a fix."
Well done to all involved and a huge thank you for all your support. It is truly appreciated and makes a huge difference in the research, awareness, advocacy and family support work that we do.
Here are some photos from the evening and read on to hear about 2 other fantastic quizzes that have supported JAR recently.

Katrina and Shaun have been huge supporters of Juvenile Arthritis Research since Polly's diagnosis taking on running challenges and other incredible fundraising activites to support our work
Juvenile Arthritis Research was the lucky charity nominated at IQ Iain's Quizzes Quiz night at The Duck last month. Michaela's family nominated Juvenile Arthritis Research and this is the second time that we've been supported by this fantastic fun quiz night! Many thanks to all involved - we really appreciate all your support.
Oli's family have been supporting Juvenile Arthritis Research ever since Oli's diagnosis of JIA. Oli is a keen rugby player and his rugby club, Driffield RUFC, have shown lots of support to both Oli and to Juvenile Arthritis Research.
They recently held a quiz night with quizmaster Gaz keeping everyone entertained, with superb questions and organising from Carol.
Oli's mum Clare said "We'd like to give a huge shout out and thank you to Carol Botterill for supporting Juvenile Arthritis Research donating the proceeds from the quiz. Great questions, tasty snacks, and a great evening all round! These quizzes tend to run monthly at Driffield RUFC so don’t miss out if you enjoy a great quiz night."
A huge thanks to all involved and for all your donations and support.
