Stefan runs through rain and shine to raise £600 for Juvenile Arthritis Research

He did it! 

On Sunday, Stefan ran the East Coast 10K in less-than-perfect weather conditions. Stefan told us "The race started cold, wet, and windy! It dried up about 50% of the way through and we had some sunshine and rainbows about 75% of the way through. Out of 1030 runners I came 499th!" 

As well as raising much needed awareness of JIA, Stefan has also raised £600 towards our vital work.

Amelia-Grace, Stefan's daughter who has JIA, was also there on the day to cheer him on and alongside her family handed out stickers to raise awareness of JIA. WELL DONE to all of you! We always acknowledge that JIA is a condition that impacts the whole family, so it is incredible to see the whole family raising awareness together to make a positive difference.
