Important update:

Thanks to your help and generous donations, we are over a third of the way to our target. We are so so grateful for everyone's support in standing with us in this vital appeal and what it means for every child and family that we support and for those not yet diagnosed who will need our support in future. Your kind donations to date will enable us to start the process of the move to a new system - the first steps are currently in progress!

The first stage of our IT upgrade is now complete! This is the software that we use to manage everything from sending out our Little Box of Hope support packs to arranging our online and in-person support work. All our forms are now back online and you can use them to request resources.

Please bear with our team of volunteers as they start using the new system - there is a lot to learn and some teething issues may arise, but we will always do everything we can to support you.

We’ve reached our limit – but you can help us support the next Amelia

We’ve reached a breaking point.

In the past seven years, the number of children and families we've supported has grown in ways we could never have imagined. Every week, more families reach out for help—and thanks to our community, we’ve been there for them.

But now, we’ve hit a barrier. The free IT system we use—the one that powers everything from sending our Little Box of Hope packs to organising ParentZoom sessions—is at full capacity. We can't add new records. And most urgently, we can't keep scaling to meet the growing need. Without the proper IT infrastructure to ensure no family is missed, people could fall through the gaps. We want no family left without the information or support they need.

If we don't upgrade our system now, we may not be able to help the next family that needs us.

We watch every penny we receive and that is why we have, to date, used a free IT system for our records, which we have now outgrown. Our team of dedicated volunteers has spent the last 18 months carefully reviewing every option. We’ve found the right solution, but need your help to fund it.

The total cost to upgrade to a new system is £10,000, which will help us support the growing number of families we support. This is not an amount that we take lightly, but this is not just an expense, it’s an investment. And one we desperately need to make. It’s an investment into

· Helping us be there for the next 2,500 people affected by JIA

· Helping us efficiently distribute Little Box Of Hope support packs to children and young people

· Helping us support the next 250 schools that need our help
