Uveitis

Uveitis can occur at any age, but the symptoms can be very hard to spot. It is really important that, as soon as possible after a diagnosis with JIA, you are seen in an ophthalmology clinic. 

This is the specialist eye team who can check for uveitis. At your first appointment they will tell you how often you need to have your eyes checked.
