Professional Artist and Certified Life Coach with a Bachelors of Fine Art (BFA)

My name is Janessa Bookout and I am an ARTworkaholic.

I have managed my own art career, professional fine art galleries and creative small businesses for over 20 years. I graduated with a BFA in 2004 from the Maryland Institute College of Art. I am a professional artist, certified life coach, art coach and published author. 

I work 1-on-1 with visual artists and creative businesses in different capacities to achieve their goals. 

I wrote and published my first book in 2023 to help my fellow artists and it became a bestseller in it's first month on Amazon! It's called "Artworkaholic: Confessions and Life Lessons for Independent Artists Building Their Own Creative Career Path". 

I have an art studio and home office located just a few miles from the beach in Southern California. I am excited to build this online community of like-minded creatives and "ARTworkaholics" who desire financial freedom, artistic expression and personal evolution through the experience of fine art education.
