J.E.F.F.’s mission is to provide resources and foster community engagement to enhance the educational and enrichment goals of Jamieson. J.E.F.F. supports Jamieson Elementary School by: Securing resources to enhance teaching and learning, providing opportunities for increased parent and family involvement, and fostering community engagement to leverage shared physical and human assets.

All Parents, Guardians, Family, Administration, Teachers, Jamieson Staff, Alumni, & Community Members are welcome!

• Events to provide community connection as well as funding resources for Jamieson, including: Trunk or Treat, Winter Gift Shop, Dances, WalkAThon, and more!

• Providing support to Jamieson after school activities by funding additional sports opportunities or other needs within programming.

• Stocking the classrooms of essentials such as Kleenex, disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer and more - taking these items off the school supply list for families. 

• We have purchased translation devices for our students to better connect with one another and their teachers. 

• Support to our teachers through Teacher Wish List and showing our appreciation. 

Since 2003, J.E.F.F. has raised over $400,000 to contribute to education and enrichment goals of Jamieson. These improvements have included the building of a playground and garden, supporting after-school programming, renovation of the school library, purchase of classroom technology, and installation of new auditorium seating and new lockers.

J.E.F.F. takes pride in promoting Jamieson Elementary School as a vital neighborhood Chicago public school and the core of our community. We encourage others to join us.
