My research interests lie at the intersection of molecular biology and genetics, with a focus on unraveling complex regulatory mechanisms that drive critical biological processes. I am particularly drawn to the intricate dynamics of human sex-determining regions on the Y chromosome, where I aim to decode the molecular controls governing gene expression involved in sex differentiation and development. Additionally, I am deeply engaged in studying antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in environmental settings. Leveraging cutting-edge metagenomic sequencing, I investigate the distribution and dynamics of antimicrobial-resistant genes and pathogens, providing insights that are essential for addressing the global challenge of AMR. This dual focus on genetic regulation and AMR profiling enables me to contribute meaningfully to advancements in both reproductive health and environmental public health genomics.Â
