BEST READER AWARD
Best Reader Award aims to encourage and recognize students who demonstrate a passion for reading and make the most of jai hind college library’s resources. Every year “Best Reader Award” will be awarded on the basis of the reading diversity, reading consistency, utilization of library e-resources, and frequency of library visits, time spent in the library and the review of the Library Advisory Committee. This award will be confer on Achievers night.
Best Reader Award Selection Criteria:
1. Reading Consistency: Number of books and articles read from the books, journals and Newspapers issued from the library.
2. Reading Diversity: Books issued on variety of genres, topics or authors explored.
3. Library Visits: Number of visits to the library, total hours spent in the library will be considered.
4. Utilization of Library e-resources: Number of e books, e journals viewed/referred from Library Online Catalog and use of other e resources.
5. To Abide Library Rules and Regulations: Student who is abiding by the rules and regulation of the library including timely returning of the issued books.
6. Attendance: Student should be attending regular lectures.
