School administrators, educators and JA program supporters value the evaluation outcomes. The program assessment results are typically required outcomes for correlations, bench-marking, grants and sponsorships. These tests are created to gauge knowledge gain and attitudinal differences.
Directions:
Educators may choose to have students take a paper version of the program assessment (click image on the bottom right to print) or students may take the assessment online (see Google Form on left, below).
If using the paper copy, this is the only item that the volunteer or teacher needs to make copies of in advance.
Pre-Tests are no good without the Post-Tests, and vice versa.
Pre-Tests should be given before the very first lesson.
The Post-Tests then need to be completed after the very last volunteer-led lesson.
The entire test should be completed by the student, each time.
Teacher/Volunteer should hold on to Pre-Tests until completion of the Post-Tests. JA will grade the assessments and send a detailed report to you for your portfolio. The complete set can be mailed to our Evaluations Director at our Waterloo office : Junior Achievement at 425 Cedar Street, Suite 320, Waterloo, IA - or contact JA staff to make arrangements for drop-off/pick-up!
It is important that the test is taken before the volunteer starts the program and again once the volunteer completes the last session. Thank you! Please contact jaei@jaeieducation.org with any questions.
