Energy conversion and storage techniques will play a crucial role to make this world carbon neutral. Our research focuses on developing efficient ways for converting solar energy to electricity and store that electrical energy within supercapacitor for the fabrication of self-powered energy storage devices. We emphasize the characterization and optimization of material properties for applications such as solar cell and electrode material for supercapacitor for sustainable energy production. We pursue multidisciplinary approaches, electrochemistry, solid state ionics and electronics, surface science and micro fabrication.
