How To Access Library Databases
You may be asked to log in when conducting your research. Your username and password is the same as your Moodle and EMPOWER login. This is the same for the library's desktop computers.

Here is how to use the Gale In Context: Opposing Viewpoints!
1. Select Library Databases from the Library course on Moodle or the library page on the JC website.
2. Then select TexShare (Enter your JC login and password and hit enter).
3. Change college: select Jacksonville College on the left side of the page.
4. Select Letter "G" for Gale in Context: Opposing Viewpoints.
5. Select, Gale Databases.
6. Select Gale in Context: Opposing Viewpoints.
7. Search your topic: For example, "Fake News on Social Media".
8. Select viewpoints.
Congratulations!
You have done your first database search in
Gale In Context: Opposing Viewpoints.
Gale in Context: Opposing Viewpoints is only one of the many databases available to students through the Norman Library at Jacksonville College.
