Curriculum and Instructional Technology is not about which digital tool is being utilized to address a content area. It is about the pedagogy surrounding it, as well as how an educator chooses to leverage the tool to meet curriculum and student needs. In this rapidly changing 21st century environment, Instructional Curriculum and Technology are not separate entities, they are a closely knitted support team to assist our K-12 teachers.

Without you, we can not prepare the students of the Jackson R-2 School District for their future. Incorporating the 4 C's: collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity into instruction is the first step in paving the way for students to live in their world, not ours. The resources provided throughout this website are intended to assist you in efforts to promote the authentic use of curriculum and technology as we support the mission of the Jackson R-2 School District:

To ignite the desire for learning and continuous improvement, graduating educated and responsible citizens.
