About Me

Welcome to my page!

My heart belongs to education! I began my career as an Elementary Educator teaching grades 4-6 and taught First Grade for one year until I found another passion, spreading my love for reading! I earned my Master's Degree/Rank 1 in Library Science and am the Media Specialist/Librarian at Jackson Independent School. I love it! This year I will be working as GEAR UP CCN and teaching high school entrepreneurship.

I am married to Richard Trent, and we have three kids Richard, Tiarra, and Brandon. We have two grandbabies, River and Bohannon. I love to watch Steeler football, spend time with family, and read. I am currently going into my 24th year and still love going to work every day!
