Hi! Welcome to the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Science and Social Studies Webpage! My name is Victoria Howard and I have been teaching at JCS for 6 years. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Morehead State University and I completed my Master's of Teaching Degree in Elementary Education from the University of the Cumberlands. I have lived in Breathitt County my entire life and graduated from Jackson City School in 2009. It is a sincere honor to continue a legacy of distinction that JCS has earned throughout our history and I am so very proud to work in the school I love and call home. 

My hobbies include creative writing, watching movies, and I am newly engaged to be married to my fiancee, Tim so I am enjoying wedding planning. I also love learning about all new, cool technology to share with my students! I enjoy finding new ways for students to connect and engage with content and I cannot wait to see what all my new students have to teach me! It's my goal to make every year the #bestyearever!
